Verbena is a 19th century sea pilot's cottage with breathtaking sea views over the harbour and to the Lizard peninsula. The terrace makes a world-class lunch spot and with the windows thrown open, music on and a cold drink on ice, it's unbeatable. It's ideally located for those who want to make the most of St Mawes' delicious restaurants, cosy pubs and shops, but it is also tucked away from the hustle and bustle making it lovely and quiet. Tavern Beach is a stone's throw away and the commute from bed to sea is under three minutes for any wild swimming enthusiasts!
Please note the cottage is at the top of a fairly steep hill and is not suitable for anyone with accessibility issues. Parking is available in a public car park in the village (see FAQs for more details), or if you're lucky the layby above the cottage may be free.Â
